Alright! So finally it’s time to start the recordings for our third album!!! I picked up Jere and his drums from Seinäjoki and the journey to the studio began. During the journey we listened to the Nightwish Oceanborn album and talked of all kinds of things, mostly about our upcoming album songs. Teemu and our producer Arttu Volanto left a little earlier heading towards Vaasa where they waited for us because only I knew the way to the studio. Teemu and Arttu followed as I led the way to the way. Finally there, we checked out the place and unloaded the equipment. We jammed for a while with the great grand piano before starting to clean the drums while Jere changed to new drumheads and tuned them. After a lot of bull-shitting, cigarettes, and cleaning and tuning equipment, Sami “Hannu the engineer” Koivisto arrived. He was talking all the time about how great it was in Milano, Italy where he was with the band Amorphis at some HUGE festival. After more cigarettes and more bullshiting, Hannu started to set up the microphones for Jere’s drums. We finally went to bed somewhere around 2 am. During the night Teemu had trouble sleeping because I was snoring hahah! Well, he changed rooms and thank God Jere didn’t wake up, because I think he would have killed me….
~Antti"Anthony Rage"Railio~

Jere and Teemu were still sleeping when Hannu arrived at the studio, but they woke soon after Hannu’s arrival. When breakfast was over Jere and Hannu retuned the drums again because new drumheads always expand after the first tuning. Hannu set up more microphones and after lot's and lot’s of coffee and cigarettes we started to search for the perfect sound. As you know, no studio visit is without problems and we had ours, ha-ha. Nothing big, just one overhead microphone broke and had to be replaced. Ok, that solved, we then encountered new problems. Now the recording program had some weird glitches and decided not to work (F***). So, after some minor adjustments and a few “not so nice comments”, and after Jere kicked the hell out of us all, which we did not like too much, (Of course I’m only kidding...or am I?) the problem with the program was fixed and everything went really well. A small adjustment here and there and we were well on our way. Oh, I almost forgot! We added a Tube Compressor to the drums so that the drum sound would really KICK ASS!!! We used the same tube compressor that, Michael Jackson, Björk, and Jennifer Lopez had used on their albums. So we got a really nice J`LO sound to the drums. (WEIRD!!?).. ;)
Its 6 pm and we finally we started the drum recordings, so I guess we’ll keep on recording until our ears and eyes fall out. I’ll write more as soon as possible... ;)
Jere started his playing from track 01. I think that he was little exited in the beginning, but when he finally settled in we got very good results. He has now played 4 songs and I believe soon we are going to take a break, because I need to go the supermarket and get some food supplies. We actually have some tasty meals planned!!! (Believe it or not)
Ah, meal done and back to work. I was the cook and I decided on Pasta with a creamy chicken sauce for our meal, everyone enjoyed it… ;) It is 10 pm and Jere is already at the drums playing,. Back to you soon..
Wow, I’m tired. We are still recording the clock is 1:37 am. Never the less, we have really made some excellent progress! Jere is still going strong. Does that guy ever get tired!!?? Teemu and I are exhausted, we just want to go to sleep. Oh, fantastic news everybody! Jere just walked in to the monitor room and said that he’s starting to feel a bit tired. YES!!!! (I am saved) It was a formative day but it is over for now so I’ll write more after we get some well deserved rest and start to record again.
Good Night all.... Antti OUT!!!-----> tbc...
OUCH! After Jere had one cigarette and three more cups of coffee he started to record again. Shit, I’m tired, heh heh. Believe it or not, he managed to record one more song and then he headed to the shower, man he looks tired…
~Antti"Anthony Rage"Railio~

Well, a new day and back to work. The clock is 11 am and Hannu arrived at the studio and listened to what we managed to record yesterday. We had breakfast together and reviewed the songs with Hannu. Everything sounded great so we were able to continue the recordings. Hmm, Jere did an amazing job yesterday. 6 tracks!! ;) That is a nice bounce when you consider the amount of time we used. It must have been the magical tube compressor of J`lo... ;) I am sure that’s what made the drums sound so God Damn good! It’s amazing the amount of work we managed to get done. ... :) But now I will go back down and continue with our recordings. I’ll write more soon....tbc---->
The clock is 4.30 pm, and the recordings are well on their way. Jere said that track 08 was one of the hardest songs in the album but it really didn't seem like it. He managed to record that song quite fast and with few problems. Track 09 was also recorded swiftly. Then it was time for PIZZA. I picked up the pizzas from the local pizzeria and while I was out Jere recorded track 10 (Japanese bonus).
Then we kept a lunch break. Ahh, tasty pizza. Only one song left, a ballad and one of my favorites ;) Hahah... while I wrote that last bit, Jere completed recording it. ;)
~Antti"Anthony Rage"Railio~
Hey there everyone! The Clock is 8.24 PM and Arttu (the producer) and I (Tapani) just arrived at the studio. This is an F****NG cool place! It’s in the middle of a forest; birds are singing and the atmosphere is awesome!
The studio looks nice and I can’t wait to get my hands on my guitar and start recording the guitar pieces tomorrow with Teemu. YEAH, and another news! We got an Endorsement Deal (Thanks to Jere who arrange it) with Hughes & Kettner. So from now on Teemu , Ari and I (Tapani) will be using Hughes & Kettner amps exclusively. I will tell you more about it someday. See ya later....
~Tapani~
Drum statement
The clock is 21:00, oh what a work, yesterday 6 tracks and today 4. At the moment I'm so tired but quite happy with the results. But when we started to listen to the tracks very carefully with Arttu and Hannu, I was sent back behind the drums :). I had to record track 03 again, because there was some difficulties in my playing. Well, I revised that track then one small part in track 02 because Arttu wanted one pre-bridge to be straighter. I rerecorded 07 again and there it was, done. This day was a much better playing day than yesterday. I believe there was too much excitement and other things in the air yesterday but today was more relaxed and better for playing. I had a better feeling for playing. Well everything is ready for now, we are leaving the studio with Tapani because we need to get the guitars and amps from Seinäjoki to the studio. It's great to go home for a while.. And, by the way, its going to be a KILLER ALBUM
~Jere~

Ok! Today has been a busy one... We had planed to start recording guitars as soon as our new equipment arrived from Germany, as I mentioned before, Teemu, Tapani and Ari got endorsements from Hughes & Kettner. Unfortunately there seemed to be bit of a problem with the equipment. Arrival had been delayed for some unknown reason and I had to drive over a hundred kilometer to pick the stuff up from another town. I first went to Seinäjoki to pick up Tapani then we were off for the “sacred task” of retrieving the goods... ;) Tapani had Jere's car the whole day and we needed to go to Jere’s workplace in Seinäjoki to return it to him. Well everything went well and we headed back to the studio now really begin! FINALLY!!! Otherwise the day was good. :) After I woke Teemu, our producer, Arttu, and I went into town to buy some guitar equipment, so the riffs and solos would sound as “Heavy” as possible!!!...:D Oh my God! I just heard the first sounds of a GROWLING guitarrrrrr. ;) But I’ll write to you as soon as possible, more of our progress!!
~Antti"Anthony Rage"Railio~

Well Tapani managed to record songs 5 and 7 yesterday after all the guitar settings had been done and so on. Of course there was a lot of time wasted on the pointless driving, to get the missing goods. ;)
Ok! So today has been a good one, so far. ;) Teemu and Arttu made Tapani and I sleep in the recording room because we snore. ;D If you ask me, you aren’t a MAN if you don’t snore. Just kidding! ;D
After waking, our producer Arttu, he made me go get some supplies from my apartment, some green tea and a wire to connect our digital camera to the computer. Of course I forgot the wire, so I have to go back and get it! Well these things happen especially when you are me. Tapani has recorded two new song today, tracks 1 and 2. And as I write this he is sawing the guitar like some mad man. :D I’ll go now and get the God damn wire for the camera... So I’ll write to you again soon...tbc... Well I’m back. I just had to come and tell you that it is strange how things can go wrong and against you when you are in studio! You see, for some unknown reason our internet connection went dead! This sucks! So at the moment we can only hope that the connection will return, soon. :) Stay tuned...tbc Hi again! I am once again really sleepy. The clock is 1:20 am and Tapani is still going strong. He has managed to record almost all of his guitar parts. There have been some hard sawing going on the whole day. At the moment he is playing the Japan bonus song which has been a pain in the ass for him. It’s because he has not practiced it enough, I think..;) There is only one song after this to record and I hope it will be recorded tomorrow because I would love to go to sleeeeeep!!! Well, we have had a new problem. After the mystical shortcut of our internet connection, which was "fixed" by Teemu, (he just rebooted the netbox...) this “piece of shit” computer!!! did not like our camera. So I have been unable to transfer the pictures to this machine and therefore you can not see how things look in here. I believe we have a plan that might actually work so until then, I hope you all are well! And remember to Stay Heavy!!
~Antti"Anthony Rage"Railio~

Hmmm. This day had more drama in it than in the Bold and the Beautiful! We started off with the same camera problem. We just could not get this crappy pile of “electronic waste” to work. At first everything seemed nice and peaceful. Hannu, our studio engineer, brought us some “just baked” pastries goods and fresh brewed coffee :) That was really nice of him... After I had my coffee and my sweet tooth had been nursed, I received a phone call from Jere. He rushed me off to some place that had a computer good enough to receive photos from our camera. Well, I did what I was asked, and it took me 2 hours to get the pictures to my friend’s computer. He packed the files and sent them to Jere. Soon after, Jere called me and he was pretty pissed off! He claimed that there was not a single picture of him and the drums! I argued that yes there were several, and I got a bit upset as well! Finally after I got back to the studio we recognized that my first friend had not sent all the pictures and I had to go to another friend. This time I did it myself to be sure that all the pictures were sent to Jere. There were a lot of cranky feelings because of those pics. :D Even with all the pitfalls it all ended really well. Now to actual business! Tapani started the day by playing one final song. That did not take too long. Oh, I almost forgot, we gave Tapani a new nick name! Tapani the DIAMOND!!!! :D Hahahahaha Then it was Teemu’s turn to come and punish the guitar! He did a really superb job and finished 7 songs total!! At least I think that was a nice job of him. I was not here at the time, so I am unable to comment much about that. I remember one thing though. He said something like this.” PERKLE TAPANI”!!! :D hahah I guess that means that Tapani had either made some really hard guitar tricks or then maybe not...;) If you catch my drift. ;D Well, after all the turmoil and playing we took one break and went to the town for some pizzas. All in all a good day...
~Antti"Anthony Rage"Railio~

Okay the guitars are pretty much wrapped for me. Or at least I think so :D There is some great stuff coming up! Killer riffs with great sound! Teemu is currently starting to play his parts. There is lots of "Traps" for Teemu :D (Trap is a term we use for a guitar part that is hard to play and Teemu is shouting to me "Tapani NO! there is a Trap again!!!!") But I guess that Teemu will make his own "Traps" for me also. Hahahaha... I can't wait what does this sound like when all the keyboards and bass, and riffs are there also. Because it already sounds so f*****g awesome!
~Tapani~

Good morning! I am still a bit woozy because right after I woke I had to drive to the city center to do some errands and when I got back, just a moment ago, Teemu was already punishing the guitar with his golden fingers..;) Oh, see after Tapani got his nick name it was unavoidable that Teemu got one too! So Teemu is now known as Teemu “Goldfinger" Koskela. :D hahaha Another really funny thing happened. When I first arrived our producer, Arttu, told me to take a look at that iron monkey over there! You see Teemu was recording guitar in the room where the guitar Element is placed, the same room where Tapani and I Sleep. Tapani was actually snoring in the same room the same time Teemu was playing!! You can only imagine the Hellish Racket going on in there. I don’t know, I guess Tapani is a true rocker!!! Well that’s it for now. I’ll get back to you soon. tbc... Hi again. Well the clock is now 4:30 pm. Teemu played the last of his guitar parts over an hour ago and now it’s time to go and take a vacation from the studio for 3 days then we’ll head back into the studio. :) About an hour ago Jere arrived to check things out. ;) Now we are reviewing some songs and checking things out. I guess that raps up this session... We will be back on Monday.:) So we’ll se you then. :) Bye!
~Antti"Anthony Rage"Railio~

Hi again! So we are back to the studio again after a small break. :) Teemu, Tapani, Jere and our producer Arttu arrived late this summer evening. Nothing much happened today because the guys had to talk over some shit about the songs and make some final adjustments before they could get started. Sadly, Jere felt really ill and had to travel back home to get him self going again.
~Antti"Anthony Rage"Railio~

Hello... So now today we are well on our way again. Teemu has sweated the whole day trying to get the acoustic parts on the album to sound as good as possible. And let me tell you, the sound is simply mind blowing! You see we had the greatest luck possible. We found an old acoustic guitar right under our noses and it sounds Absolutely Fantastic! We were a bit concerned at first because there was a paper tag attached which said: "YOU TOUCH, YOU DIE!!!" :D
So as you might imagine, we were a bit worried that we might not get to play it.... But the owner of the studio (Martin Kantola) said that it was ok to use it, “On one condition! Buy me new guitar strings! Hmmm. Let me think a while. OK! :D So now we are recording the acoustic parts and discussing some really weird things. Well actually our producer got a really weird idea for a band. (maybe there is a new metal act in birth) Teemu managed to record all his acoustic guitar parts to the album, long day behind now, but everything is ready and tomorrow we continue our lead guitar recordings.
~Antti"Anthony Rage"Railio~

Today when I arrived at the studio, the guys were already at it... ;) The guitar was screaming for metal and the climate in the studio was close to tropic! (+30) Tapani did some overdubs and his guitar parts are now done for this album! So we are well on our way... :) After Tapani finished I drove him to the railway station so he could catch the train to Seinäjoki! I came back and Teemu "The gold finger" Koskela was nearly injured badly because of a miscalculated step into a car. His head was nearly chopped OFF!! He lost consciousness for a second. He is ok now and everything went well never the less. You see we were at a local supermarket buying some supplies when Teemu got hurt. After we came back from the nearly fatal trip, Teemu recorded the most difficult riffs of the album! Working titles "Manowar and Torvi Tapani which, by the way, means horny Tapani"...:D After those things were played, we watched a "Nightwish” DVD “End of an Era”. A GREAT DVD! Nothing more today, let’s see what happens tomorrow! Good night!!
~Antti"Anthony Rage"Railio~

Hannu arrived very early at the studio and he was very pissed because he was having a phone call from his insurance company and they told him that they will not reimburse him for an accident with his car. You know Hannu used a carwash and some idiot crashed his car during the wash. So remember, if you are using a carwash and an accident happens, it's your fault! Well anyway we started to listen to the songs and did some arrangements so we can continue with bass guitar parts next week. We also visited Hannu's own studio which is located in downtown Vaasa. It is called BIOTECH AUDIO SOLUTIONS. The studio was COOL but let's see if it is still cool after our mixing sessions. Well now everyone can concentrate on the GREAT FINNISH FESTIVAL called PROVINSSI ROCK which will be this weekend in Seinäjoki. Lots of great bands will play there. C U next week…
~Antti"Anthony Rage"Railio~

Hi again! I arrived here just a few hours ago to check things out. :) Ari, Teemu and our producer Arttu were already here and Ari and Arttu went through every song and made some final changes to the bass lines. Now I know how important an instrument the bass guitar is, because when it’s missing you really notice that something isn’t right. This album starts to finally sound powerful ;) I helped the guys get Jere’s drums to Arttu’s car so he could take them back to Jere. At the moment Ari has recorded at least 3 Tracks. That’s a good job because the songs that he has played are really difficult! Like, I don’t understand how a man’s fingers can go so fast! He must make some lady really lucky...;) hehe... I'll get back downstairs to observe the fine work. See you soon...tbc..
Hi again... So now it’s time to say good night again. Ari has done a long day today, I wonder if he’s tired. I know he is because it is like so freaking HOT in here!!! Well I’ll drive back home and leave Ari and Teemu to sleep here within this tropical atmosphere! See you tomorrow! Antti out....~Antti"Anthony Rage"Railio~

Hi everyone! Today has been a hard one... The heat has been just freaking awful! It must be a hundred degrees in here!! Ari has, at least for now, been able to keep his cautiousness, and managed to play few new tracks into the hard drive... Also there have been some weird tune problems with the guitars and basses. I mean that when you play the basses it seems like it would go slightly off note... But in fact it is going as it should. Our Vice leader "he knows who he is" called our beloved Studio guru "Hannu", and explained the problem to him. After few lightning comments later our Vice leader told us that there is actually no problem what so ever so we can just continue playing and sweating like fools under the burning sun!!! I’ll write more soon, unless I faint in this heat...tbc..
.
Ari had some problems during the day, like I said it is about +100 degrees here and the guys are just sweating and drinking all the time. Well it was a long day/night, the time was about 4:00 am when the guys stopped the playing. I believe it was better playing during the night because it wasn’t so hot all the time. Well I can’t complain because the summers here in Finland are very short and usually it’s raining all the time…. Anyway, he managed to play about 5 songs and we are still on schedule, back to you tomorrow…
~Antti"Anthony Rage"Railio~

Well, today nothing really happened. We checked the bass tracks and rerecorded a little to some of the songs again, because the guys got some great new ideas for a few of the songs. After Ari had recorded everything, Jere and Tapani arrived at the studio to take Teemu and Ari back home. So at the moment we have recorded all the drums, rhythm guitars, acoustic guitars and basses. Next week we start to record keyboards with Juha. Now of to Nummirock 2006 (which is a great mid summer festival here in Finland)
~Antti"Anthony Rage"Railio~

Bass statement
Hello all!
Just finished the bass recordings and what a work that was! These new songs are harder to play than before and we put into them much greater detail for playing the bass lines too. It’s funny how fast time goes when you’re playing. I started recording basses on Tuesday with our producer Arttu and guitarist Teemu. First of all we went through all songs trying to decide what would be the best way to play choruses and stuff. Arttu had many good variations and we decided to record them all. While recording we also added all kinds of nice bass runs with Teemu. Now after two and half days with a lot of work, re-re-re-re-takes, and not too much sleep, everything is finally done. I’m satisfied with the results and I must say there are some truely EVIL bass lines in there too, hahhah. But that’s about it! for now... Right now I’m off for sun and beer(s)!!!! See Ya.
~Ari~

Keyboards are here…heh, what a dramatic start! The guys start to unpack their gears and soon the room will be full of different sounds, loops…. and curse words. Who said, that album making is 100% joy?
But in the end…this album is worth the pain and tear, and everyone is ready to give those from the heart.
It’s time to start recording the basic tracks like strings and stuff. New songs get their new dimensions from the keyboards. Thanks to a lot of preparations, the keyboard parts fit in quite easily. We work carefully with keyboards because we want album to be heavy, but still very rich and powerful. Too much keyboards is bad and too little can be a disaster too, so Juha must find a golden path in middle. Great is that Juha understand that albums don’t have to include hundreds of tracks and layers of keyboards..:) The guys are recording and hours and days pass quickly by. So far they pass without any big problems. Who needs a sleep when there’s an album to do??
~Antti"Anthony Rage"Railio~

~Antti"Anthony Rage"Railio~

This is the day that I have been waiting for a long time. Recording grand piano!! Not just because it is great to be back in studio but that piano is a Steinway. Only worth some 2????? euros or more. I can’t wait to get my hands on this “White-Lady”. I hope that I won’t break it in action.
When Ari and I arrived at the studio, the guys were recording the choir parts. It was fun to listen to how much some parts had change from what I have heard in the demos of the songs. Of course the sound was much better…heh. When the choir parts were recorded, the others went to smoke, so it was my time to start warming up. Antti came with me and we had a great jam session. Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody was of course the first I wanted to play. It was only the second time I got my hands on a real Steinway. so.. I tried to enjoy it and have fun while I was able to. Hehe…don’t tell anyone, but Antti showed some interesting ways to dance to ragtime piano.. Damn, that the cam was not on.!!!!
I was just so disappointed, ´cause our producer Arttu “The Lighting-trousers” promised to lay on the piano naked while I played…but no… he stayed in another room… or maybe it was better in this way… well… live and learn;)
Piano parts were ready quite fast and we started to pack things up for the trip home. Bye bye Studio. See you soon. Friends applaud, the comedy is over. ~Beethoven~
~Juha~

Keyboard statement
Well…what can I say? The best album experience so far!! Everything went great and was quite painless. Of course some tech. problems and stuff but we all managed to survive.
When I pressed that one last Dm from the piano I felt odd. The journey that had begun a long time ago was now over for me. It was funny to think that just sometime ago while I was speaking with Teemu and .he said that when he joined in Celesty almost a month before last Christmas.. we were already working on song number 6. From those 14 songs that we made for the album it now contains 9 + one bonus. I’m really glad that we are in D-tune now and some songs have even C-drop tuning. That gives a nice feel to album…Best album of Celesty…so far;). Band works great, sounds better than ever. Can’t wait to hear opinions from around the world. But when one thing ends another starts. Soon I start to set-up my keyboards for live gig standards and again start to practice old songs that we haven’t played in a long time. I can honestly say, that after the last gig. was over, a year ago.. we have not played any old song since, not even one chorus.
So it’s time to go down memory lane.
~Juha~

Hello all, Now when we start to record vocals, I’ll (Jere) write the studio diary because Antti has to concentrate on the singing ;). We had one day delay because Hannu was in Germany working on some GIG with Amorphis and, you know there is Football World Cup in Germany, so all the flights were late and we had to start the recordings today instead of yesterday. But no matter, we are ok as long as all lead vocals are ready. Now I can also expose the track list to you, so here you go:
Celesty: 3rd album Track list
So, Antti started to open his voice and at the same time Hannu did the arrangements to the songs: Back in time and Empty room. For the first time in Celesty’s history we have all the lyrics ready and Antti has practised those before the vocal recordings began.
Well, here it starts. Antti has almost finished the first song and I have to say his voice sounds incredible. Antti has developed a lot since Legacy of Hate studio times. WOW We finished the song and then together we listened to it completely. Everything’s ok, now we have recorded the song Back in time. Next song, Empty room and Antti is waiting behind the microphone. Everything sounds just great, Antti has only few lines and song Empty room vocals will be recorded. After that we head out to get something to eat and then we will continue the recordings tomorrow. Back to you tomorrow….
~Jere~

Ok, this day started with us listening to what we managed to record yesterday and everything sounded great. Today will be a long day because we must have more songs recorded than yesterday. It might be hard because this studio is like a sauna (HOT) Antti already is opening his voice and I have to admit that his voice sounds even better than yesterday. We started to record song Lord of mortals so I’ll get back to you when it’s completed.
Antti has drunk about 10 litres of water or more but Lord of mortals is recorded! We were very very careful with this song because it’s the album’s first song and it’s also a very difficult song to sing. Well, you hear it soon ;). Next song will be Demon inside. This song is not typical Celesty song, you know, parts of this song has influences from Dream Theatre, Nightwish and Sonata Arctica. It is one of my favourite songs in the album. I will let you know when the song is recorded, back to you soon… hope so….
Antti had some small problems with singing a song Demon inside, but I don’t blame him. It’s really hot in here and I believe it’s very hard to sing when you are sweating all the time. Anyway, he managed to sing this song and now we are going to take a lunch break. After lunch will we start to record the song War creation, which is also one of my favourites in the album, but now some food ;)
~Jere~

Ok, it was really a great day yesterday, when we arrived at the studio Hannu was already listening the songs we recorded previously recorded. Hannu said that one of the best vocal lines at this moment is in song War creations, I think it’s because it’s such a DAMN GOOD SONG!!! …. hahhahhah
Anyway, after we listened to the songs we started to work again. Antti started to open his voice while Hannu and I talked about all kind of things. You know we are long time friends with Hannu (we went same school about 6 years ago) It is very interesting story how we ended up recording Celesty’s 3rd album with Hannu. You know about year ago I was online in my messenger and suddenly Hannu came online also. We started to talk about everything and then suddenly I got an idea and asked if he would be interested in recording our next album. He was like “hmm, I hate power metal, hmm I could give you something new to that genre, let me think a while…. “ and then he called me and said “HELL WHY NOT.”
Well, back to business, Antti is again behind the microphone, and we can continue. Now we start to record song Unreality, again one of my favourites. We started to compose this song after we heard that Tapani, Ari and Teemu got an endorsement deal from Hughes & Kettner, there is lot’s different kind of guitar riffling in the song. I should I say a little TRASH AFFECT…. damn… We are doing great album hahahah or should I say jajajaja like our messenger friends/fans laugh. Back to you soon....
Again Antti has had a good day to sing, no big problems only the heat. Not only Unreality but we managed to also record the song Last sacrifice, which we nick named GERMANY before I wrote the lyrics on it. That’s because it’s “German Power Metal” song, our bosses in Germany will love this one ;) hahaha and jajajaja. Ok, let’s move on…. Next song is called hmmm Antti isn’t sure hmmm…. we think that in our lunch break…back to you soon
Antti gave me the chance to decide the next song… So, next one is Arrival one of the albums songs where everyone hearing it will know that this is CELESTY!! It’s fast, lot’s of horns and pipes, fast solos, high pitched vocals, hero riffs… let’s see… or should I say hear, back to you soon…
Awesome! GREAT!! FANTASTIC!!! …. Arrival is recorded… two more to go… we decided to continue tomorrow, till then STAY…….. you know where…. METAL
~Antti"Anthony Rage"Railio~

HI… It’s the last day of recording the vocals, I think. The atmosphere is good, Antti’s voice sounds great, and I’m having my first cup of coffee, let’s start. Oh and by the way, when I walked from Antti’s place to here in Hannu’s studio, Antti was roller blading, I think it’s very good exercise for him and why not for me also… hmm should I buy roller blades…. hmm….
Well, again we listened to what we managed to record yesterday and everything was perfect so now we can continue with our Japanese bonus song Power of infinity. This is a very fast song also with horns and pipes. Our Japan fans will like this song. Ok let’s hear how Antti manages to sing….
Just great, Power of infinity is recorded, now only one song left, a ballad, Among the dreams. Antti reads the lyrics for the first time and he hasn’t heard the final melodies at all, I think we will use more time for this song than the others.
Believe or not… wow… Antti is more than satisfied with the ballad. You know, he doubted that this song would be special, but he was almost in tears when he heard the final recording. I have to admit it… I like this one also, I usually don’t like ballads but I’m satisfied with this one, a lot of feelings and I’m satisfied with the lyrics and how well they fit in this song’s atmosphere.
Well all the vocals recorded and time for Antti’s statement. I think we have to wait the Antti's statement a while because he is so tired :) … Jere Out
~Jere~
